March Jewelry Classes

March Special! Bring a friend (or two) who has not been here before and you both save $5 off your class fee.

Thursday, March 11th: Make your own jewelry findings - 6:00-9:00 pm - $35, includes some materials

This class is for any level. We will make lots of french earring wires, hook clasps, and fused fine silver beads so you'll have them when you need them in your designs.

Friday, March 12th: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm - Simple Circle earrings - $35 includes some materials

This is a great project if you are new to soldering, or need some practice. We will make our own circles from silver wire and solder them together to create a variety of earring designs. We will explore connecting several circles together as well as different surface textures.

Monday, March 15th: 6:00-9:00 pm - Open Studio - $30 plus materials.

Tuesday, March 16th: 4:00-6:00 pm - Mom and child bracelet class - $35 per pair, includes materials

This class is open to moms and kids 6 and up, girls or boys. In this class each person will make a beaded bracelet. Choose beads from my large bead selection to make a bracelet for yourself or for a gift. A great way to spend some quality time with your child. Sterling silver findings included.

Tuesday, March 23rd: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm - Beading! $15 plus materials

Grab a friend and come enjoy the relaxing art of beading. Choose what you want to make and I'll help you make it happen. Bring your own supplies or purchase some in class. Make earrings, bracelets, necklaces, etc.

Tuesday, March 23rd: 4:00-7:00 pm - Open Studio - $30 plus materials

Friday, March 26th: 6:00-9:00 pm - Girl's night out! Gather a few friends (5 max due to studio size) and come make some jewelry! Bring your own refreshments and make a party out of it. Jewelry making is fun and therapeutic and you get to leave with a piece of quality sterling silver jewelry. Much better than hanging out at a noisy bar or restaurant! Inquire about pricing and possible projects.

Saturday, March 27th: 10:00 am-1:00 pm- Stamping and Riveting - $35 includes materials

In this class you will learn how to stamp with letter or number stamps and learn riveting to create a unique pendant or keychain. Nickel and Copper sheet will be provided. (Sterling will be an additional charge.)

Tuesday, March 30th: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm- Sea Glass! $35 includes some materials

Learn how to drill sea glass and explore techniques to transform sea glass into beautiful pieces of jewelry. Bring some sea glass from your collection or purchase some in class. Some silver wire included.

How to register: Please email (autumn@autumndesigns.com) or call (475-6158) to sign up for a class. A 50% deposit is required to guarantee your space in the class. You may mail a check to: Autumn Hampshire - PO Box 664 - York Harbor, ME 03911 or call me with a credit card number.

Class Sizes - Most classes have a maximum of 4 students. Small class size = more individualized attention, less time waiting for tools, and a comfortable atmosphere. I may take up to 5 students for beading classes, since the use of silversmithing tools is not needed.

Open Studio classes are for anyone who has a specific project in mind and needs to use the studio and/or have some assistance to make it happen.

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel please let me know as soon as possible. If you do so within 2 days of the class, your deposit will become a credit that you may use for another class. Deposits will not be refunded.

Do you need a website, logo, business card design, earring cards, photography services, etc.?

My husband, Ian Hampshire of Purified Design Studio can help! His website is currently under construction, so contact me for more information. He is currently re-designing this website and should be launched within the month.

Class Policy

All class fees must be prepaid. Materials are extra and will be due at the end of class. You are welcome to bring your own materials as well.

You are not officially signed up for a class until your payment is received. You may pay by check or call with a credit card. (Do not email credit card information.)

If you will be sending a check you may call or email me to register so that I will hold your space in that class while awaiting payment. Please be ready to mail the check the same day of registering.

If you need to cancel for any reason and do so within 4 days of the class you will then have a credit that you may use towards another class. There will be a $5 cancellation fee for ALL cancellations. If you do not cancel within 4 days of the class you will not be issued a credit unless I am able to fill your spot. Please do not come to class if you are sick and contagious.
